Graphite's Top Hits

On today’s agenda, the first item on the list is to get down! Graphite’s playlist is exactly what you need to add some excitement to your day and inspire creativity. To get the mood going we kick off a smooth and a half hours of tunes with Afro-Cuban Jazz pioneer, Chico O’Farrill’s Afro-Cuban Suite. A beautiful mix of American jazz with the influences of Cuban and even Brazilian sounds to relax and get your creative juices flowing. Next we’ve gotta loosen up our wrists and arms and fingers because art is not only mental but physical. Justin Timberlake, Amindi K, Nicky Jam and J Balvin have got us covered with a great rhythms and beats to make you move. After we’ve got all that movement out and our fingers body is nice and limber, we’ve got to get in the zone and slow it down and feel it out with more influential musicians, Bob Marley’s Get Up, Stand Up and Aretha Franklin’s Respect.

I think at this point we’ve toned down enough right? Now we’ve gotta build some of that energy back up! Evenlyn King’s Love Come Down, George Michael’s Faith, and Fun.’s Walking the Dog (this might even be a good time walk your dog eh?) brings our spirits right back up until we’re ready to bring out session to a smooth close. Who’s gonna take us there you think? None other than Mya and Blackstreet coming in with Take You There and Marvin Gaye with the timely classic, Got to Give it Up. Sounds like by the end of this playlist we should have some great work and some great tunes to come back to next time! Check out Graphite’s full playlist below.
